LUPITA’S BAKERY INC., WAS ESTABLISHED ON OCTOBER OF 1985 BY THEIR OWNERS, TWO ENTHUSIASTIC HARD WORKERS WHO WERE ABLE TO WITNESS PROGRESS AND FINALLY SEE THEIR DREAMS COME TRUE. AFTER WORKING FOR OVER 17 YEARS AS EMPLOYEES OF KREAM KROP BAKERY IN LOS ANGELES (CLOSED IN 2009) THEY DECIDED TO START THEIR OWN BUSINESS. WITH A LOT OF EFFORT, THEY ESTABLISHED THEIR 1ST BAKERY IN AUGUST OF 1985 IN LOS ANGELES WHERE THEY REACHED THEIR GOAL AND MADE LUPITA’S BAKERY A BAKERY OF QUALITY AND PRESTIGE. ON AUGUST 5,1990, THEY OPENED AT 1848 W. FLORENCE AVE. IN LOS ANGELES, CURRENTLY KNOWN AS LUPITA’S BAKERY #2, WHICH IN THE SAME LOCATION YOU WILL FIND THE LUPITA’S BAKERY TACOS INSIDE, WHERE THEY SERVE DELICIOUS AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD WHICH NOW FUNCTIONS AS THE PRIMARY BAKERY STORE OF LUPITA’S BAKERY INC. UNFORTUNATELY, THEIR HARD WORK WAS INTERRUPTED BY THE L.A. RIOTS ON APRIL 27, 1992, WHICH BURNED THEIR 1ST. BAKERY, THUS LEAVING IT INOPERABLE. DUE TO THE NECESSITY TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY, HIGH DEMAND OF GOOD QUALITY PRODUCTS & CAKES, THE FAMILY DECIDED TO EXTEND THEIR OTHER BAKERY LUPITA’S BAKERY #3, BUT THIS TIME LOCATED IN THE CITY OF HUNTINGTON PARK CURRENTLY OPERATED BY NEW OWNERS… THE FAMILY FEELS VERY PROUD TO HAVE SEEN THEIR DREAMS COME TRUE. THIS PROVES THAT WHEN YOU HAVE A SPIRIT OF WILLINGNESS, DETERMINATION, LOVE AND ENTHUSIASM, YOUR DREAMS BECOME A REALITY, WITH REWARDING RESULTS.
