The story of Canyras Sweets began in 2012, when Nydia Ayala made her first cake for an event. Her daughter was turning 15 years old— a day that as a mother Nydia had always dreamed about celebrating perfectly. This was the first time she experienced the joy of expressing her creativity in making someone’s dream cake. Ever since, this small event ultimately led to a booming cake business that intersects Nydia’s love for challenges and her drive to bring positivity into others’ lives through manifesting their own dream cakes. Nydia Ayala has studied baking with some of the greatest professors in the field, taking certification courses on culinary subjects raging from edible watercoloring to custom isomalt sugar sculpting. Each cake she makes brings together the many elements in a client’s vision to create a finished product that is one-of-a-kind and never disappoints.
