“I’ve always enjoyed baking. In fact, one of my favorite days of the year is “”cookie day,”” during the holiday season when I get to spend the day in the kitchen baking up batches of various cookies to package up as gifts for my family and friends.

In 2012, I decided to expand my baking skills and took a Wilton cake decorating class through my local Parks & Rec. In the months following, I made cakes for every family birthday and event for practice. Soon after that, my friends started asking me to make cakes for their kids birthday parties. Seeing the excitement on those kids faces when I arrived with the cake got me hooked.
