As the mother of college-age kids who have left home, leaving an empty nest behind, I understand the challenge this can bring to the child and the parent and the desire you might have to help your kids know you are proud of them, how much confidence you have in them taking on life away from home, but also how much you might miss them. Let me deliver a baked fresh “hug” from you to them to make them feel special and loved! I have always enjoyed baking for my family. It is a simple way to share my love with my husband and my kids. My kitchen is my comfort zone. I enjoy making simple, no frills, homemade tasty treats that all kids and adults love. When Sarah left home for college and Jack left home to join the Navy, I struggled to find creative ways to show them I cared from a distance. This idea blossomed into a business concept. I would love to help you send some Mom-baked goodness to your college student or other loved one in the Flagstaff area and bring a smile to their face and yours. Here at Pinecone Pastries, our goal is to help bridge the distance between college students (or other loved ones) in Flagstaff, Arizona and their families in other places through home-baked cupcakes, brownies, cookies, and muffins that we personally bake, individually package, deliver, and document with a photo sent to you. These care packages can be sent during birthdays, holidays, final exams, or any occasion when you want to show some love!
