The Brownie Bar Story Following a dinner in downtown Omaha we (owners James and Michael) were looking for a good brownie for dessert. After driving around Omaha and seeing only cupcake, cookie, and donut shops we found that it was difficult to find a good brownie, as well as any shop that only specialized in them. ​ Curiosity led us to several months of market research that included attending and selling brownies at local farmers markets one summer. The interest was clearly there so we opened our first brick and mortar location in November 2019. Keeping with the “Bar” theme, we offer crafted (made from scratch) single brownies, flights, and brownie packs in three, six-pack, twelve-pack, twenty-four (case), and thirty-six (party pack). The Brownie Bar was set up as a Limited Liability Corporation. 00:09 00:30 While some of our customers are retail walk-ins, most of our revenue (over 60%) comes from events such as corporate outings, weddings, birthdays, and graduation parties. ​ Based on feedback from many of our local customer, we opened our second in February of 2022. The suburban west Omaha Location makes it more convenient for the people living in western Omaha.
